Pointe of Axis
Pointe of Axis, is a Neo-Classical/Contemporary Ballet inspired by the primal energy of the natural world. An original work expanding through the structure of ballet exploring themes of survival, connection and transformation through dance, light and music. The original score is composed by dancer Þorbjörg Jónasdóttir drawing inspiration from Icelandic nature. To enhance the performance's depth, the piano is pre-recorded, while the Viola is performed live by Diljá Finnsdóttir, weaving an evocative narrative and offering a dynamic musical experience.
